Lil sis returned from the hostel earlier this week with two unexpected guests, her friend’s pet hamsters. Mum wasn’t really keen on the idea of having “rats” in the house initially but she relented eventually. They will be staying for weeks.
The furballs do provide some amusement for me at home. I will stand infront of their cages to see them eat, sleep, run on the wheel ( sis said that they can run more than 10km on the wheel everynight! ) and say Hello! to them ( countless times ). They never replied. Even when i treated them to pears and bananas, not one squeaked a thank you.
